Our retirement spot!

My brother, Kirk, just sent these beautiful aerial shots of our retirement land in Campbellsville, KY. Craig and I were there in March and bought 3+ acres from him. Ours is the lower left corner of the pictures. The trees were still bare then and wintery-looking, so it was overwhelming to see these photos with everything so green! It makes me realize just how much of a desert we really live in. We are excited to go to Campbellsville, but know we have to wait for Craig to retire in 9 or so years. It's fun to begin planning, though. I have several house plan books that are becoming well worn! My favorite so far--and I emphasize the so far part!--is the Atherton on www.dongardner.com. Check it out and tell me what you think.
Rebecca told me that she checks this every day to see if I've posted anything. She'll be so excited!
Later.
Ruth

I didn't know you were planning on moving to Kentucky. Good for you! 3+ acres, wow! Darren and I spend a lot of time keeping up with our yard that's around 1/2 acre. I love the house plans. It will be fun for you to spend the time looking so you can decide what you really like. Let me know when you are up Laketown way again. I really need to make the drive over and see you when you're around.
