Go, Sharks!

More pictures of Logan as the shark mascot for Silvestri.

The cheer squad hosted a day camp where 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders learned a cheer, some jumps, and a chant. They all got a t-shirt and pom-poms, and got to perform at half-time during one of the basketball games. Emma had a blast! She wants to be a cheerleader in jr. high SOOOO bad, but she hopes she's not the smallest one, because she doesn't want to be the flyer! I don't really blame her.

A rare moment of bonding between Logan and Tara.

Logan and Emma after the cheer performance.

Logan and team at the jr. high competition held at Silverado. It was so much fun to watch. The teams we saw were all very good.

Maybe...

Emma has a field trip to Lake Mead today. She has been talking about it for weeks! They get to go on a "cruise" around the lake. Way cool! Anyway, this is what Kevin said on the way to school: "Maybe...you'll see a mountain lion eat a long-horn goat!"

It's spring!

Just a few photos of the flowers in our front yard. They are so beautiful right now and Craig took some great shots. The pink flowers are attracting hummingbirds and butterflies. We have been watching them through the front window for a couple of weeks now. I just love springtime!

Thanks, Mom!

Since October I have been playing the "grocery game." It's a website (www.grocerygame.com) that helps you find great bargains and even tells you which coupons to use. I love it! I think it has really helped me become a better shopper. Anyway, much of the toilet paper I have been buying since then is Scott brand, 1-ply. Just recently I bought a different brand of 2-ply. I didn't think much of it until this conversation while folding clothes:
Steven: "Thanks for doing my laundry, Mom."
Me: "You're welcome."
Steven: "Oh, and thanks for buying 2-ply toilet paper."
Me, laughing: "You're welcome."
Steven: "That other stuff was a little thin."
